Each month we are helping to transition two homeless families with children from the homeless shelter to permanent housing in partnership with SVdP CARES. In addition to basic household supplies, we try to provide these families with some personal items they have requested, such as clothes, toys, special items for the home, etc. This list will not go over $100, and St. Paul families can get together to split the cost. Children of our parish families can also be involved, by helping to shop for these items, make welcome cards, write nice notes, or draw pictures for the homeless family.
