General Dispensation from Sunday Mass expires Saturday, May 22
Bishop Gregory Parkes announced that the general dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days for Catholics in the Diocese of St. Petersburg will expire on the Vigil of Pentecost, Saturday, May 22, 2021. While the general dispensation is removed, there are specific instances, including if ill, elderly, anxious, or have underlying health conditions, where the dispensation will continue. Details about these particular dispensations are on the diocesan website. As we continue to welcome more parishioners back to in-person worship, please continue to follow our parish safety guidelines, including using face coverings, until official public health guidance suggests otherwise.
